What's So Great About The Apple Iphone Anyway?

It seems to me that a lot of people are making a fuss about Apple's new toy, the Iphone. Why? So it browses the internet. The Iphone isn't the only phone ever to have internet access, and pretty much any PalmPilot kind of device will do the same for you, only guess what? It'll probably do it better. So it holds music and videos – so what? So does that other famous Apple product, the Ipod, or even an alternative (and probably cheaper) brand that might not (dare I say it?) break every time you look at it. But wait – Palm Pilots can do that too! What a shock...! I'm not saying it's not a good phone, but the Iphone is hardly the “revolutionary” experience people have been touting it to be, now, is it? There are plenty of phones, or handheld computers with phone capabilities, which can do the same – and not only are they cheaper than the Iphone, they don't have to be broken into and soldered to make them do anything Apple doesn't like. Apple's fans need to realise that, clever as they are, Apple didn't invent everything they sell. The Ipod has already shown that sometimes people might just be better off looking at the options instead of raving about the latest fashion accessory from Apple, and as far as I'm concerned the Iphone does nothing to prove this wrong.

Right up front I work for T-Mobile and I have been a blackberry user since the late 1990s. RIM has had, and always will, have a comparable phone. (Thunder) the service is not that great with AT&T and the iPhone crashes.....ALOT!!!! Remember guys, its a computer device that was ment to be the iTouch and AT&T just added a phone option. Theres lots of problems behind it. Stick with something like Blackberry or Palm.
