Friends Sabotaging your Diet?    Back to the homepage
Views: 883 Report
This was probably my favorite little article to complain about in the Nov/Dec Weight Watchers; Pals & Pounds in the seen & heard section. Diet tips should not include how to handle your friends. If you cant handle your friends in regards to your eating habits; maybe therapy or intervention would help. I dont know about anyone else but when Im dieting my friends know and are supportive, thats why theyre friends. I dont need to be coy with my friends about dieting or my eating habits. I dont blame my friends when I decide to eat a few chocolate chip cookies; they usually come out of my points anyway which is the whole point of Weight Watchers; so it would be my problem. We are supposed to control ourselves; not our friends. So, Karen, Ill have a cookie (2 points); and Marie you can eat high-cal after the workout and Ill have the salad; and Diane, happy hour sounds fine; I dont need a dinner anyway tonight. Im dieting; they are my eating habits; and I still love my friends more than food. Your points welcome here!
