So we haven't hit the equinox yet, but the days are growing shorter, the temperatures are cooling, and the hurricanes hopefully are settling down for a winter's nap until next year. I've lived in Florida all my life, and I never get tired of the wonderfully earthy smells of Fall here. Worldwide, people hype Florida's beaches, sunshine, and hurricane magnetism, but there's far more to Florida than its pristine coast. Many unmolested forests, large and small, are scattered throughout Florida's heartland. Feel free to visit the beaches and the theme parks over the Summer if you want to, but I'll be enjoying the rest of Florida's landscape this Fall. Mmmmmm.
