It's one of those inevitable double standards - people seem to always double park and clog up the street traffic, inconsiderate of everyone else. Sure, I've done it and I know I'm "that person" but it never ceases to annoy me when it's someone else's car and you are stuck not moving beacuse someone is running in to pick up a latte at Starbucks.... Chestnut seems to be among the worst, but Van Ness can really kill you with just one lane blocked...

I drive a courier truck, and I park wherever the hell I feel like. I don't give a rat's ass if you're right behind me, and I don't care if I tie traffic up. What are you going to do, berate me? Boohoo!
On the other hand, I've prevented you from innumerable accidents, without you even knowing it, by honking at you when you don't know how to enter an intersection properly, or make a left turn safely.
You may think you're a safe driver, but have you ever looked in your rearview mirror to see how many accidents you've caused by inattention? You might be pissed at my attitude, but it's professional drivers that save you from yourself.

Especially when you get hit with a $65 ticket. I got a ticket two weeks ago for double parking in front of the cleaners. I was running late and they we're about to close, it ended up being a very expensive visit.
