Everyone always talks about the first date being the most important and that everything has to go perfectly. As my date and I were walking down the promenade, I noticed a Hooters restaurant. Classy I know. They do have some great food and it made for a unique first date. I guess she didn't mind too much seeing as we have been going out ever since. So gents, the key to a girls heart is obviously the Hooters experience.

So, how did your date stack up compared to the Hooters girls?

There was no comparison, all my attention was on my date.

You Rock IceMan. What yoohoo2 must have misread is that you are still with her.

If it is really important where you take the girl, then it probably isnt worth the effort. Love is built on a common bond, not the money spent. You found a good girl.

Hilarious - I would have laughed and been able to enjoy it too. No sense in being uptight on a first date. My boyfriend and I went to a totally empty pub on our first date, on a night I was just coming down with the flu. I felt like sh-t but it didn't even matter.

was reverse psychology the reason for going to Hooters. I think that you showed her that even with alot of Hooters Hottie's around all eyes were on her....SCORE

The first date is important. It's not important to impress your date, but to make a connection. The worst thing you can do is to pretend to be someone you are not. I learned this the hard way. If your date had said "No way!", and split, then chances are you would be wasting your time anyway. This girl sounds like fun. I wouldn't make Hooter's a habit, though. I just hope that you remember this first date if she ever wants to eat at "the restaurant with all the hunky waiters".

I don't understand all the fuss. I have cooked at Hooter's as a second job. It's really a good restaurant with a cool atmosphere and good food. The employees laugh when they see some guy with that blushing look on his face as if he just went into a strip club. So, the negative take on Hooter's is really from people on the outside. Besides, I see more skin from those self-righteous ones in Panama City Beach every summer than from any Hooter's Girl.

Like I tell my wife, they have the best wings. She never believes me. Of course, have you noticed how the waitresses behave differently when you are there with a date opposed to being there with a bunch of other guys. When there with your date or wife, they act very polite and simply take your order and smile. When there with a bunch of guys, they are sitting down at the table with you, laughing and giggling at everything you say, and of course, plenty of reaching over the table. :-)

Boy, if I had been your date, I would have dumped you! You aren't showing much respect for a lady by taking her to such a lack of class place!

proves that young girls can be just as stupid as young boys. Just don't try that when you grow up, you'll be sitting alone in a booth guessing cup sizes.

I know any guy I'd date wouldn't take me to Hooters and, as I don't date you, I really don't care where you take your dates. But I do have two questions: Do you ever go out to eat with your sister or your mother? If "yes", would you take either of them to Hooters? I suppose there's a third question: If you wouldn't take either of them to Hooters, why not? If you would take them there...then wowie...you've found kismet. (I'm secretly hoping that your date was only with you for the free meal and she was enjoying the scenery as much as you were :-")

very funny IceMan. I don't necessarily believe the first date is the most important, but I would rather not eat at Hooters, thank you very much.
