I thought I was the only one who gags and almost throws up every time I drive through the San Joaquin Valley on my way up to San Francisco. Now, I know that I'm not alone. LA Times states that the "SJ Valley has the dirtiest air in the country and that the dairy cows pass cars as polluters. Got Milk???

LA Times needs to learn about logical fallacies if it is stated how you put it. First of all the sentence is written to try and make a connection that the dirtiest air in the country is in SJ Valley and that it is caused by the cows since dairy cows pass cars as polluters. What pollutants are they comparing? They are trying to compare mechanical devices to living breathing animals. Each produces different things and cannot be compared in one simple statement. Also what is their definition of dirty air? As in air that smells bad or toxic emissions from cars. Personally I would much rather be breathing in air that smells like cows than smog that I cant breath.

A little too much information for me there. Cows serve one purpose... tipping.
