Saw this movie over the weekend, and it was the first movie in a couple months with some substance and depth to it. Adapted and simplified from the book, but still a good story with interetsing characters and beautiful Kenyan scenery. It's fairly heavy but I would definitely recommend it.

This movie is a big letdown from a high hype level. It is very boring. The cinematography is nice as are some of the scenes. But I could care less about what happened to any of the characters. Academy award material...my arse.
