The Chevrolet Corvette ranked third in the best sports sedans of 2007 by Car and Driver Magazine. The Chevrolet Corvette is Chevrolets attempt to bring back the muscle car that had otherwise become obsolete. While car enthusiasts might debate as to whether or not the Chevrolet Corvette can ever really be considered a muscle car, one thing everybody can agree on is that this is a beautiful car, inside and out.
The Chevrolet Corvette has a front engine with rear wheel drive. This car comes in three types of body: the three door targa, the three door hatchback car or the two door roadster. Regardless of the Chevrolet Corvettes body type, this car seats two people comfortably.
The Chevrolet Corvettes engine is a 16 valve pushrod, 6.2 liter V-8 engine with 430-436 horsepower and 424-428 lb-ft torque. People who want a little more oomph can opt for the sixteen valve pushrod, seven liter V-8 engine with 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft torque. As with most sport sedans, buyers can choose between a six-speed manual transmission or a six speed automatic transmission with manumatic shifting.
The base cost of the Chevrolet Corvette spans from forty six thousand dollars to seventy one thousand dollars depending on the body and engine types a person chooses.
