So what has the wonderous singing wonder Carrie Underwood been up to? Slimming down and shedding some weight, according to a pop magazine. Despite being a vegetarian, Carrie has no problem admitting that she can overeat on her favorite foods, which contributed to her chubby look in 2005. Apparently the singing idol can eat a pound of cheese in one sitting and has had problems fitting into clothes she feels good in. Carrie has, however, stepped up to a daily, high-cardio routine and positive attitude to stay slim, pretty and healthy--all on her own and without expensive trainers or coaches. She doesn't stop there, though. Attempting to reach out and give some advice, Carrie says that she now keeps Kashi bars in her purse to curb the bigger appetite from coming on. Considering that she does it without a trainer, like a real human being with some hard work and sweat, I think it's awesome that Carrie is speaking out about fighting the flab. As America continues to become more and more obese, young people need role models like Carrie Underwood to inspire healthiness. Now if she could lay off the cliche'd ballads...

Carrie used to look hot. Now she looks like the vast majority of shapeless, anorexic, female celebrities who have begun to suffer from a skewed body image. I agree that childhood obesity is a problem that needs to be addressed, but unfortunately the problem of self-induced starvation among women is growing at a similar rate. From your post I would say that you are a part of that problem. Physicians have even changed their thoughts on obesity, they now say that a few extra pounds is much healthier than being underweight, and any guy will tell you that curves are much nicer to hold than angles.
