If you had to buy a car right now, what would you choose? I need help deciding. Any suggestions for low maintenance, fuel efficient and safety? It has to be sexy too!

pearl15_1999 (7/25): If you can find one, I would buy a Toyota Echo, 2005 are very hard to find. All the previews I've read about this car are very good. Check out some car preview sites and search Echo. I hear the mpg is the highest amoung the reg gas engines 35/40. They are small but speedy and reliable, also hear it is a favorite amoung the young. They are very limited in this country and will not be available for 2006. Price on a 4dr sedan - auto - is about $13,888. If you want all the luxury options found on most vehicles then this is not the one. Should only cost you about $700 yr for gas. Good luck! (report)
Burkett57 (7/26): pick a car you like, then use the internet to find out about it, type in the name of the car you like into a a search page and see what comes up (report)
CaptAmerica (8/27): Buy the very hard to find Honda Civic that burns Natural Gas (just like your new city buses). This is the same gas you have in your home. It costs you less than $1.75 right now...and price has held steady during the recent crude oil doings. (report)
