Not a fan of captain jon's. The location and setting is pretty cool sitting right on a dock eating dinner on lake tahoe but the food, service, and overall comfort (no heat lamps) was poor. It just reopened, maybe they'll pick it up a bit.

(7/19):
We were just there this past Sat and Sun. The food was great and the atmosphere was excellent. We were able to shed our shirts and jump in the water off the dock and the dog was allowed to play on their private beach. This will be a regular stop for us everytime we are in Tahoe.
