Cannot Sleep - Tips to Help You Get More Sleep    Back to the homepage

Ok, so you cannot sleep. You're super frustrated, you are annoyed that you will be exhausted tomorrow, and all you want to do is FALL asleep. You have several options to get more sleep.

1. Sleeping aids
2. Reading books
3. More exercise
4. Eat more healthy
5. White noise machine (this works well)

I personally have found that adding more exercise to my day has greatly increased my ability to get a good night sleep. Now if you cannot sleep and you cannot add more exercise to your day I suggest you buy this amazing book by David Fontana called Teach Yourself To Dream. I bought this book several years ago when I lived in NY and couldn't sleep. What was intersting about this book is that it is just a bunch of exercises. Each night when oyu get into bed you read a simple one page exercise, bascially a visualization exercise, and it someshow knocks you out. you will find that you sleep harder and most importantly you will remember your dreams. So if you cannot sleep and you don't want to get hooked on sleep aids, then try out this book or eat well and exercise more. Cheers,JB
