The Cadillac CTS was chosen as one of Car and Driver Magazines Best Sports Sedans of the year. This fantastic vehicle is a front engine, four or rear wheel drive four door sedan that can comfortably seat five passengers. The base model without any of the fantastic additional and optional features runs at around thirty three thousand dollars. That might seem expensive, but it is well worth it considering that the base engine is a DOHC, twenty four valved, 3.6 liter V6 engine. It has 263-304 bhp of SAE net Power and 253-273 lb-ft SAE net torque. The transmission can be either a six speed manual transmission or six speed automatic with manumatic shifting.
The Cadillac CTS gets around seventeen miles per gallon when driving in the city. Car and Driver raves about the Cadillac CTSs interior. Older versions of this car had black plastic, but that has since been replaced with far superior materials. The Cadillac CTS is only in its second generation but it is doing wonders to transform the publics idea of what a Cadillac is. Now, thanks to the Cadillac CTS, Cadillacs are thought of as powerful and aggressively sporty. They are still a luxury vehicle, but they have power that backs up that luxury ten fold.
