The guy has worked for Republicans most of his life -- if he's confirmed, you can bet he'll never come down against a Republican Administration, no matter the question. Between his interview and getting nominated he helped hand the current Administration a major victory in finding that they can continue to ignore the Geneva Convention in their treatment of prisoners. He also seems to have "forgotten" he was a leading member of the Heritage Foundation. His confirmation would be disastrous.

That's all fine, but as I said Bush outsmarted the Democrats... Again!

Bush doesn't have the mental capacity to "out-smart" anyone. Bush "out-smarts" himself...

Recently the Supreme Court decided that local governments can force you to sell your house whenevever it is deemed profitable to the local community. What will be the next outrageous decision to blow away our constitutional rights? This nomination of a Supreme Court Justice is no game of one-upmanship, thebro. Vital aspects of your life are at stake.
For instance, what happens when the Feds decide to expand the definition of "terrorist" to include anyone who disagrees with them. The FBI has been spending our tax money investigating those of us who do for many decades. You better be praying that people like John Roberts don't get the power they lust for.

yeah, saying "I won't answer that question" over and over again is real smart and a real good way to learn about someone who is going to sit in an important position for the rest of their life.
