I am sick and tired of hearing about Women today and their obsession with weddings-
planning them, attending them, the guests the flowers the music, the food…..STFU already!
It is so overblown! Girls be out o dey mind cause it’s the only time in their lives they can be a
Princess and get away with it. Its such BS. Also it seems the younger the girl getting married
The more ridiculous the wedding. Ever see Braveheart? Where they are married and secret? That’s
What I want just you and me baby, just you and me. And wedding websites?.......barf. If I see one
More website about how John and Lisa met and they just “knew” I’m going to puke. With these overblown
Affairs ladies you are driving us young bucks further away from the herd into a life of bachelorhood one-night
Stands and serial masturbation. Cut the Shit when it comes to the weddings. Even some girl is dissing
The suicidal ski jump now???: http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/art icle.cgi?f=/c/a/2005/08/18/MN G NDE9H7P1.DTL

funny article: "But perhaps no one is more irate than Laurie Beijen and her fiance, Ben Tulchin, who are getting married at the historic Flood Mansion at Broadway and Fillmore the day of "Icer Air 2005."
"I'm a very detail-oriented person," said Beijen, 30, a nonprofit communications consultant. "I checked the dates for the Grand Prix, the Union Street Fair and the marathon. Who'd have thought you'd have to check for a snow jump competition? In August? It's just ridiculous.
"When I turned 30, we went to a bar in the Mission. We didn't close any streets. We didn't create a public nuisance," Beijen said.
Beijen and Tulchin's ceremony begins at 4 p.m., half an hour before Icer's sound permit expires and about an hour before demolition crews begin tearing down the ski jump.
"Our vows are the most sacred part of our ceremony," she said. "But instead of hearing us saying 'I love you,' our guests will hear the snowboard announcer and trucks dismantling a ski jump, making that lovely beeping sound.
"I can't even describe how hard this has been, to come down two weeks before our wedding," she said. "No bride should have to face this before she gets married."
The Flood Mansion, which costs $8,500 to rent for a wedding, did not receive notice of "Icer Air 2005" until recently.
Icer's Griffin said he was sorry about the wedding, but ultimately it was "just bad luck."

I agree! Was a bridesmaid at a wedding in NYC this weekend and all any of the other bridesmaids talked about was their weddings, past or present. It was so annoying and selfish. Wedding mania makes me NUTS.
