It blows big time that the people feel justified by their diety to destroy the lives of so many people by bombing them. My thoughts are with all of the victims in the U.K. I mean what god instructs it's followers to live in a country they hate so much, drive the cars, watch the television "enjoy" the things we take for granted, and then maim and kill innocent people that enjoy them too. I mean if western decadence is all that is driving their hatred , simple stay in your country and impose your will upon your own people and maybe(no promises) the western leaders will stay out of your country when another Sadam comes along. Or I chould ask what will make them stop the bombings?

you should try learning something about Islam before making a blanket statement about what it preaches to its followers. It's like saying Christianity instructs its followers to bomb abortion clinics. These are extremists, they don't represent all Muslims.

Sorry I don't mean to make a blanket statement, but it just saddens me that when this sort of thing happens, the extremists do it it in the name of a/their god that others of their faith believe to be benevolent. But I honestly want to know what is the solution, what can we do.

It is indeed sad that people will attack and kill other people mainly because they don't agree with their religion. It hasn't always been just Islam. As a Christian I am sad to say that many a man, woman and child has been killed in the name of Christianity. The Crusades were no more than "I'm holier than you" posturing, sponsored by the Catholic church. The Koran does speak of violence against non-believers, but would you be surprised to know that so does the Bible? In the Old Testament God would instruct his people to make war and not to leave anything alive. Not one man, woman, child or beast should be spared. Is this to mean that God wants us to slaughter every non-Christian? No. The Koran doesn't mean for followers of Islam to attack its non-believers either. These are the acts of people who are lacking knowledge in their faith and are easily led by those who profess to be inspired by their God or Allah.
