sorry I am a man and I beg my women to wear nylons and in particular black and in particular with open toe shoes. It's immensely sexy to see pretty toes wrapped together in a see through fashion. Also, given that, sure, for a very clean sharp look exposed stockinged feet are not the purist way, I feel that a woman putting in public hosed toes is sharing almost something intimate (in fact most won't do that). And I love that. And I also enjoy seeing men staring at them, it's a game. Also nylon legs look so shiny and soft and silky and when the woman removes the shoe, there's the anticipation to see the foot wrapped, toes together in a soft curve, the scent. I in fact even love reinforced toes the most. And as for the color black, well nothing more than that is linked to elegance and sensuality and the little darker shade lines that it creates on the legs or feet, those little wrinkles on the the soles,well, how boring a world without would be. Femininity, that 's what stockings are, any type. Another layer before you are there.

If you were old enough to be around before the late-1990's, you would know that nylons and sandlas or open toe shoes was the norm. Somewhere along the line, someone decided that bare feet were better with sandals, even for elegant evening dress. Ok, so I'm a bit old, but if you're going to get dressed up, legs encased in hosiery is the only way to lokk really "dressed". Bare legs and feet with an elegant dress? Doesn't cut it. The bare legs and feet with sandals is basically just another trend toward laziness. Kinda like a man wearing Doc Martens with a suit. Unacceptable.

When I hear women say that nylons and sandals are not to be worn together, I find it rather perplexing. When I was growing up in the '80s and early '90s it was quite common for women to wear hose with sandals. I don't see what's wrong with it as long as they're sandalfoot hose. Why do you think they're called "sandalfoot," anyway? It's because you wear them with sandals, dummy.
Anyway, I suppose I should admit that I'm not completely unbiased here. As a man, I have to admit that there are few things sexier than a pair of nice legs in sheer nylons and strappy stiletto heels and I think most men would agree. If you're a lady and want to get yourself a man's attention, there's no better way than to wear that and flash him some leg.
I think modern American women's dislike of nylons doesn't really have anything to do with fashion, it's just because they're slobs who don't care about their appearance. Most women from Asia, Europe and Latin America wouldn't be caught dead in a skirt or dress without nylons, sandals or no sandals.

Women have become clueless through the years.And frankly the so called fashion "experts" are the blame.It's a simple thing.Men enjoy looking at women who wear pantyhose whether it's sheer,control top with or without the reinforced toe.Frankly, the reinforced toe nylons with sandals look hot.Women are mistaken about the no hose with sandals look.You know what looks worst?Women that muffin top over their jeans while wearing a tight top.They look like pot belly sneeches.

I too am a male who thinks that nylons/stockings are one of the most feminine and sensual articles of clothing that can be worn anywhere anytime. It truly is sad that anyone thinks it's fashion related - under jeans, in skirts, etc. Hell, I'd promote 'em as sleepwear! :) It's the icing on the cake ladies (and I definitely don't just speak for myself). We men don't wear ties and suits to impress other men (hence the adage about "men in uniform"... same deal). Women seem more concerned with other women's opinions than the opposite sex (must be trying to keep up with Ms. Jones). Spending a hot day with a tie/noose around your neck would not be my first choice, but maybe we should be just as avoiding and go for the sweats comfort. I'm sure the non-aware women would find that equally attractive :) What happened to women enjoying being feminine and attracting looks from the opposite sex??? Easy to do, but easier not to do... Oh, what could have been! :)

I happen to be wearing nylons today with open toed shoes. Now I wouln't go without the nylons but I thout about picking up the ones that show off the toes and hide where the nylon ends under the strap of the shoe. However, for black nylons you have no choice. I do agree that black tights shouldn't be worn after Jr. High but black nylons are okay.

Bare legs is the NO NO. I hate this new "bare" look!! Nylons if done tastefully is the finishing touch of pure class!! Its very sexy with open toe shoes...I right open toe shoes. Its rare to see a great pair of heels these days. Most all the new heels are Ugly!! Seems the mark of a hot woman these days is to dress her as ugly as possable and see if she still looks good. Woman need to look back at 40s and 50s pin up art to be reminded what is HOT to men!!!
