It seems like the bible is the most referenced book in the world but how many have actually read it? Don't you think it might be a good idea to pick one up and read it, or at least a few sections of it since it fundamentally influences over 60% of the worlds population.

You're right. I've been reading it for the last couple of months. Interesting read... especially the sex, intrigue and war in the old-testament

I'm not a Christian myself, but I have to agree that The Good Book is a pretty good book, whether you believe in God or not. And some of the ideas about being nice to each other aren't bad either...

The Bible written by men, is not the word of "GOD" its a tool to control the masses. Why has the Bible been rewritten? Simply control. Look what King James did to it. It's good to be king or god in his case. And in his case one major reason of re -writting the word of god was control of women.
