The Belize Zoo:
Set in the natural environment the Belize Zoo offers viewers a chance to see native Belizean animals including endangered species. Come see Jaguars, Tapirs, Black Howler Monkeys and crocodiles. $45.00 US per person.
Altun Ha:
Located on the old northern highway 31 miles north of Belize City this archeological site once served as coastal trading center and feature 2 main plazas with 13 temples. Discovered within the largest and best preserved temple is one of the largest caved jade artifacts in the maya world. Price for this tour is $45.00 US per person.
Belize City Tour:
Still referred to as the old Capital, Belize City is still the commercial center .Charming colonial architecture begin to tell the story of a city first used to ship logwood and mahogany now the heart of transportation, commerce, culture and even politics. The historic Swing Bridge built in 1923, is the only manually operated bridge in the country, and allows fishermen access to the Haulover Creek.
The Supreme Court is Belizes highest judiciary system, was built in 1926, and shows off ornate iron work and a four sided clock tower.
The oldest Anglican Cathedral in Central America is the St. Johns Cathedral. In 1812, slaves with ballast bricks began construction of this beautiful structure.
In 1814, a residence for British colonial governors was constructed. The Government House today known as the House of Culture is now a museum displaying silverware and wine glasses used by Queen Victoria and King George VI.
