I’m going to give this rant ten points of rage. Weight Watchers gift guide in the My Looks section of the magazine (beauty or fashion, I don’t know); what are they thinking. Literally a waste of space; I’m not buying. I certainly hope every issue of Weight Watchers is not like this. I need to see the demographics of their readers. Are any of you out there? What is this about, a beauty section, a fashion section? I’m a mom with three kids; and a husband to shop for. This gift guide is totally indulgent and not at all appropriate for Weight Watchers. I felt as if this was intended to be a guide to pull out and give to hubby to make purchases for me. What no organizers for the busy working woman; or a good low calorie cookbook for mom (or cozy slippers…that is fashion for a stressful mom); or geez; here’s an idea… what if I actually purchase gifts for OTHER people and need ideas for men or children? Weight Watchers shame on you. Replacing food with shopping is not a weight loss solution. I like beauty and fashion but are they trying too hard?
