On a whim I picked up an Eddie Bauer Ear Lite - a hands-free adjustable LED flashlight that clips to your ear on sale for about $10. While I normally dont buy gadgets, I thought the Ear Lite might come in handy when working in some dark corner of the house. Tonight that dark corner was the twins bedroom. One of the boys had just been sick, and the other was sleeping. With this handy little flashlight I had two hands free allowing me to quickly cleanup all the offending matter, replace the crib mattress pad and fitted sheet, and sooth my son to sleep without turning on a light and risking waking the other one. The golden rule: never wake a sleeping child. The Ear Lite is now on permanent display on my nightstand.

Absolutely - this is a dynamite product - serves as night light, road trip light, and late-night outdoor construction project light! I took it to a Christmas family gathering & was the envy of the gadget-minded.
