No matter what slack I might get for it, I can't help but love the adorable, confused and quirky Drew Barrymore. As a child, I watched her on the silver screen in E.T. and shared familiarity with our equally chubby cheeks. I also experimented with drugs around the same time she was in trouble for the same, time and time again. And when her career began to soar again at the turn of the millennium, I was right there, cheering her on and enjoying every sappy movie. ESPECIALLY 50 First Dates. Plus her father was a favorite of my family elders. SO it makes me very pleased to see Drew Barrymore happy and spending time with her new guy, Justin Long. I truly believe she may still recover from the Green thing and we might just forget it happened. There. See--it was just a bleep. Gone. Justin Long is all there is now. So it totally rocks that Drew Barrymore has the moves on this Justin Long dude. But one thing is still apparent: Drew Barrymore likes nerds.
