BMW 335xi - Bad Car, Bad Service, Bad Tires    Back to the homepage
Views: 1133 Report
I leased a brand new BMW 335xi last year and still after 12 months I do not like the car. I've been to the dealer for major and minors repairs more than 6 times in the first year and still today have squeak issues with the wheels and dashboard, and the steering wheel as this little give that feels like a clicking sensation that drives me nuts. I also bought the xi version for 4 wheel drive but the wheels that came with the car were no snow worthy. So I bought some 17 inch wheels that were snow worthy but the BMW run flat tires were as hard as a rock. Again had to push the dealer a bit before they said that BMW recalled the tires. Crazy. So frustrating. I would give the car back tomorrow if I could. Buyer beware.

jpessique (5/30): Had a 325i once. In less than 35000 km had to replace : Five dashboards (faulty electronics. 2 engines (faulty valve pushers system) One front axle and steering system. Faulty glass winders and many other defects. Dangerous to drive on snowy or on slippery roads. Sold the junk half price after spending 40,000 euros in repairs. (about the price I paid for it. BMW never accepted to make the warrantee pay for the defects. I now have had 3 Honda Accords with NO problems. German cars are lousy cars ! (report)
