The week between Christmas and New Year's should be written off. Many of the clients that I interact with get the week off and for those that don't, most people take the week off for vacation. Why not make everyone happy and add these days to the annual time off calendar? It's hard to be productive when no one is around to respond to emails or answer phone calls!

I concur wholeheartedly. Most unproductive week EVER. Followed closely by the first two weeks of March Madness.
