I purchased a 328i in early 07 and noticed the run flat problem after about 7k miles. Sounded like I was driving a tow truck down the street. I said to heck with it and immediately replaced all 4 with Michelin MXV non run flat. Immediately noticed better ride and handling. No more noise at 40,000 miles later. I'll take my chances with a flat. That's why I have a AAA membership. The dealership has not said anything to me concerning my unilateral change against BMW policy. It doesn't matter anyway, I plan on selling the car in about a year. Anyway, I say change to non RFT and enjoy your BMW.
