I have a nail in the tread of one of my run flat tires. Can the hole be plugged?

Anonymous (2/3): WTF are you posting that here? Give the tire manufacture or local tire shop a call. (report)

when do you replace run flat tires?

Anonymous (12/14): if the tire looses pressure the sidewalls get comprised - therefore you will need to replace your tire. Instead of a nail costing $10 to repair it is now a $400 repair - oh and if your car is an xi (4 wheel drive) you may need to replace all 4 tires based on how much thread is left. A $1600 nail. Just crazy. (report)
