I tried some Catalpa worms the other day and caught 10 nice channel cats in white river. Concerned about the pollution of our rivers running through the major cities I returned the fish back. I just like catching fish mostly. Recently I discovered that the Catalpa worm is getting more rare due to the mosquito control measures that are sprayed to control west nile virus. So if you get a chance try a catalpa worm for catfishing before their extinct one day.
