Arnold supporting the California voters    Back to the homepage
Views: 961 Report
It was your fellow Californians that voted down gay marrage - not Arnold! The California voters voted against gay marrage 5 years ago. He is simply not letting the legislators overturn what the voters already voted on. He's just doing his job.

ronc99 (9/9): I agree. There is something very weird and wrong about two of the same sex being married. It is just weird, and obviously not what the general population wants. At least the VOTING population. And I would assume, those wanting it bad enough would have voted themselves, but were overruled. Let the votes speak for themselves and accept it. If they want to live together, let them, but MARRIAGE, I don't think that is right. (report)
Anonymous (9/11): I totally agree. The people have spoken. Why doesn't this matter? Little by little we are having a breakdown in family values. Is society better off? I think not? I say "You go Arnold! California has spoken!" (report)
ChickenMama (9/12): I agree with this statement. The CA voters have spoken. The GUV is just following the "will" of the majority. I do wish gay/lesbian couples could marry. I don't think it tears down anything for anybody, but rather acknowledges a loving bond of two people. (report)
shawnb0829 (9/14): Does anyone read that little book? You know the BIBLE, way to go Arnold!!! (report)
