I took one look at the news yesterday and saw the horrific scene in Toronto and thought for sure most of the passengers on the Air France jet didnt survive. Later that evening I was shocked to see that all 309 passengers evacuated the plane safely. Props to the airline and crew for evacuating the plane so quick. That Rocks!

I saw that the entire plane was evacuated in under 2 minutes. Amazing.

the emergency vehicles reached the plane in 52 SECONDS!! That is amazing and they should get an award for it!

Certainly will make me look up and listen when the flight attendants are explaining the exit routes in case of an emergency. Also makes me want to sit in the emergency row all the more!! Kudo's to everyone in this near tragedy for keeping their cool and following directions!
